1. Prepares, drafts and circulates for signature contracts and amendments that pertain to Mosaic Paid Programming, and can include other programming contracts. Tracks the end date of Mosaic contracts to ensure timely negotiations of new contracts and broadcast continuity.
2. Ensures receipt and verifies all deliverables as applicable to the Mosaic Sales Agreements. Reports technical issues to third party producer or distributor and internal commissioning editor. Liaises with third party producer or distributor to resolve delivery materials and/or technical issues. Must work closely with Accounts Receivable on contracts terms, changes, or issues that relate to billing.
3. Accurately enters and updates contracts and related information in internal databases. Ensures the integrity, completeness and accuracy of the contractual information they contain. Provides reports as requested.
4. Coordinates CRTC information for Mosaic programming into internal database, ensures accuracy of Canadian content, closed captioning, etc. Tracks the validity of Canadian Recognition Numbers of Mosaic programs, reminds clients to apply for new certification numbers, reviews their applications to ensure it meets CRTC requirements and assist producers when requested. Informs programming management when a program is no longer in compliance with ZoomerMedia Television Division’s Canadian content requirements and takes action as directed.
5. Coordinates DVD Sales Fulfillment process, including processing orders, responding to viewer queries, and providing reports to producers based on acquired rights.
6. Collects and maintains music cue sheet information and files required information with SOCAN.
7. Performs other miscellaneous tasks, queries and special project requests for the Programming, Sales, and Business Affairs departments as assigned.
